St. Michael Walk-a-Thon declares a Penny War!

September 22-25, 2025

Put your spare change toward a great cause. All proceeds from our penny war fundraiser will go to reaching our $40,000 goal for Walk-A-Thon.

Pennies are “positive.” Here’s how it works: 

Containers are located in the cafeteria and can be accessed DURING YOUR LUNCH TIME ONLY (11 AM - 1 PM). 

*DO NOT COME IN DURING OTHER CLASS LUNCHES*

Each penny counts as one positive point for YOUR GRADE. 

Each silver coin or bill counts as negative points for OTHER GRADES. In other words, dropping a quarter in another classroom’s bucket takes 25 points from their total!

At the end of LUNCH on Thursday, September 25, Penny Wars will end and the GRADE with the most positive points will win a PIZZA PARTY! 

Pizza Party date TBD and will be in the weeks following the Post WAT Rally.

**Parents, it is easier for our younger students to have pennies in one baggy and silver coins/dollars in a different baggy.
